Refund & Returns
At Floral Events by Maria, every floral arrangement and styling piece is created with care and attention to detail. Due to the perishable and custom nature of our products, we have specific guidelines regarding refunds, returns, and replacements.
1) Eligibility for Refunds or Replacements
If your florals or hire items arrive damaged, not fresh, or significantly different from the agreed design, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
Please provide clear photos of the issue so we can assess your request.
If approved, we will offer either a replacement, partial refund, or full refund, depending on the situation.
2) Non-Returnable Items
Because our flowers are perishable, fresh and preserved florals cannot be returned once delivered or installed.
Custom event arrangements are also non-refundable once preparation or installation has begun.
Props and hire items cannot be refunded once collected or delivered unless they are faulty or damaged prior to use.
3) Substitutions
Flowers are seasonal and subject to market availability.
When necessary, we may substitute blooms of equal or greater value while maintaining the agreed colour palette, style, and quality.
Such substitutions do not qualify for refunds.
4) Event & Wedding Bookings
Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to the event date to be eligible for a refund (minus any costs already incurred for materials or labour).
Cancellations made within 14 days of the event may not qualify for a refund, depending on preparation progress and supplier costs.
5) Change of Mind
Refunds are not available for change of mind once work has commenced, or once florals have been prepared, delivered, or installed.
6) Returns for Prop Hire
All hire items remain the property of Floral Events by Maria.
Refunds are not provided once props are booked, but deposits may be refunded if cancellations are made in advance, according to your hire agreement.
Clients are responsible for any loss or damage to hired items; repair or replacement costs may apply.
7) How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or replacement, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order or delivery with the following details:
- Your order or event reference number
- A brief description of the issue
- Supporting photos
Our team will review your request and respond within 1–2 business days.
